Another Fine Meth
A plasticine Laurel and Hardy/Breaking Bad illustration with Stan and Olly emulating Walt and Jesse by cooking up another fine meth.
I thought it might be interesting to show what goes into making one of my plasticine illustrations so below is a one minute, stop motion, time lapse video showing the process from start to finish – enjoy!

I bought myself a badge making machine for Christmas
I bought myself a badge making machine for Christmas, it makes 25mm, 38mm and 45mm diameter badges. Here are my plasticine planets turned into a set of nine badges that use all three sizes. Expect more badge related buffoonery soon.

Milton Jones made out of Sculpey
Here's a model of the comedian Milton Jones that I've just finished. It's my first experiment using the modelling material Super Sculpey.
This is a test piece for something I'm thinking about doing for this year's Tringe Comedy
Festival - last year I made these 'stand up stand ups'.
Below the finished painted model of Milton are a couple of process shots showing the baked model being sanded and then given a coat of primer. There may or may not be more, I'm not sure!

EasyJet in-flight magazine cover
I was recently commissioned to illustrate the front cover of the January issue of Traveller, EasyJet's in-flight magazine. The issue featured a story on diving and yoga holidays in Egypt so I was asked to create a heiroglyphic based illustration using plasticine.
Below are some process shots plus an article on the making of the cover that also featured in the issue.

Jose Mourin-yolk
Jose Mourinho talked about nurturing Chelsea's 'beautiful young eggs' and then saw his eggs beaten by FC Basel in their first Champions League tie of the season.
Here's a moody, broody Jose that I've drawn for top football podcast The Illustrated Game. I was honoured to be their weekly guest a couple of weeks ago - listen to the podcast here, and learn about a novel way of exorcising players who are possessed by ghosts.

OFF LIFE and Olaf
Also, whilst we're on the subject, here's a recent collaboration where I've brought some of Olaf's thoughts to life in the form of a comic strip (click to make big). I'm proud to say the strip has been published in the wonderful OFF LIFE comic, click here to view more great strips from other artists and also to view previous issues.
Sweden's 8th funniest comedian
I happen to agree with Tony Law on this one (see his quote on the website) but apparently some people find him quite funny. Either way I created this website for him.

Tringe illustrations - more feedback
Well, the 2013 Tringe Comedy Festival has sadly come to a close but I've been lucky enough to have been sent this amazing video with a selection of some of the best comics currently on the scene talking about my illustration work.
The comedians featured include, Josh Widdicombe, Stewart Lee, Ed Byrne, Simon Evans, Terry Alderton, Richard Herring, Alex Horne, Tony Law and Seann Walsh to name but a few.
The project was an absolute joy to work on and I'm told that most of the comics are now in possession of their respective life-size stand-ups!
Special thanks to DeeTV for the video.
