Rude Dolph

Each one of this years Christmas cards came with an individually rendered (reindeered?) swear word. As this is a family-friendly website I've pixelated the below image, I'll leave it up to you to imagine the exact level of coarse language featured on each card.

Drawing on windows

Here's a communication/technology themed mural I did recently on the windows of Steelcase's London office for their 'Living on video' event, click to make them bigger – more images including some live drawing I did at the actual event to come soon.

Blowhole in one for iD Gum

This is the second of three iPad/iPhone games that I've illustrated for iD Gum. The premise is simple, fire golf balls off a boat and into the blowholes of whales to score points whilst also aiming to hit flying fish and seagulls. The screenshot shown below is from a unlockable bonus mode featuring tartan whales and flying pigs. Once again the chaps at Chunk Games and Droga5 take all the credit for putting the brilliant campaign together, the apps are available to download here.

Many happy returns

I've been thinking about doing some greetings cards featuring really bad puns. This one is a birthday card that I think would sit neatly alongside this one that I did a while back.

Bonus Disco Dinosaurs

If you've downloaded the T-Rex in V-necks game that I illustrated, there's a great Disco mode which you can unlock that features a funky soundtrack and neon-clad aerobics dinosaurs that score you double points.

Compare/Contrast exhibition

Here is my contribution to the Compare/Contrast exhibition curated by MrGresty. The brief was relatively open with a loose theme based around things that are the same, different, equal or opposite. My piece is called 'Man and woman' and in my usual juvenile fashion it uses the playground hand signal for 'sexing'. More info here.

AOI Best of British Illustration Exhibition and annual

A quick snap (admittedly taken after a few too many complimentary beers) of my Plasticine Tatooine illustrations on the wall at the Association of Illustrator's Best of British exhibition at Somerset House. Get yourself down there, it's really good and I'm not just saying that because my work's in it. I will also be giving a talk about plasticine, humour, Star Wars and general illustration stuff at Somerset House on October the 28th – expect hilarity!

T-Rex in V-necks for iD Gum

I'm proud to announce that the first of a few games that I've worked on over the last couple of months for the US launch of iD Gum are available to download for the iPad and iPhone. The concept is simple, drop plasticine V-neck shirts onto fashion conscious dinosaurs as they maraud through a trendy clothes store – three misses and it's game over – nothing weird about that! The guys at Chunk Games and Droga5 have put together an amazing campaign – the apps are available to download here. More games will be unlocked over time including others that I've worked on, obviously I'll keep you posted.

Fred Ferenczi

Portrait of Fred Ferenczi, a mate of mine who happens to be the best schizophrenic stand up I know. Drawn using Brushes on the iPad – slightly different style but still has the trademark 'Quince nose'.

Go Wiggo! prints

Due to demand (and being pestered by my British & World transplant cycling champion sister) I've decided to do a limited edition print run of my Bradley Wiggins 'Go Wiggo!' illustration. They are A4 on 200 micron white pulp board, signed and numbered and they look good in a frame – Click the 'add to cart' button below to buy one now before they go (there are only 25 of them).

Croc of shit

An iPhone drawing reminiscent of my Guess Poo period, inspired by the young girl who I saw scraping dog poo off the bottom of her crocs as I walked to my train – as Kafka once said "Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old"

Tringe Comedy Festival illustrations

I've just got hold of some printed copies of the posters and programmes that I illustrated for the 2012 Tring Comedy Festival. The festival features loads of great acts including Richard Herring, Russell Kane, Simon Evans and Jenny Eclair. My own favourite act are the hilarious and wonderfully named 'Late night gimp fight' – check out all of the acts here.

Here's a detail of something I'm working on – I know, if it's not football it's Star Wars – I should really do something that combines both.

Fundraising League Cup Winners painting

Here's a picture of three legendary Luton Town FC players from the 1988 League Cup Final winning team; captain Steve Foster, keeper Andy Dibble and, scorer of the winner, Brian Stein.

The painting was auctioned to raise money for a local lad who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour - read more about Reece here. Over £7,500 was raised on the night of the auction.
